Advanced Therapy Access Program
At Oncos Therapeutics we strictly comply with all national and international regulations. We also feel that patients with a life-threatening disease, which progresses or remains persistent after available routine therapies, must have the right to access promising therapies-in-development. Our Advanced Therapy Access Program was started in 2007 in partnership with International Comprehensive Cancer Center Docrates, a state-of-the-art clinic based in Helsinki, Finland. Strong safety and efficacy results have encouraged us to continue the Advanced Therapy Access Program.
Under the program, oncologists at Docrates may recommend virotherapy for eligible and interested patients willing to accept the associated risks. Today, 200 patients spanning 18 countries and 20 solid tumor cancer types have undergone the treatment. The virus type, dosing, and administration are tailored based on individual needs.
